Eaves Tile Cutter
The Marley Eternit Group is a leading UK manufacturer of roofing products and their Keele site makes traditional handmade tiles.
Each roof has to have a row of smaller, Eaves, tiles at the bottom of each pitch. In the past it was a slow and laborious job to change to tooling and then manually load every Eaves tile into the next part of the process.
We listened to Marley Eternit‘s requirements, produced and analysed a number of options and then selected the best for detailed design. The cutter had to fit in with other existing equipment and needed to be installed in the minimum possible time. We designed manufactured, installed and commissioned the cutter on time and to budget.
